Paid To Click programs have became very popular within the past few years. The reason why so many people have joined Paid To Click programs is because of their simplicity. There are other PTC programs where you can buy referrals from. There is one out there that I know of but this means you will need to spend some money. This way you will get an instant down line. Some people may have a difficult time referring others or may not have the time to advertise. They offer packages of 15 and up to 500 members. This might be a good way to get started.
The most common merchant account these PTC programs use is AlertPay. You will need to open an account with them. Once you earn enough funds from your PTC accounts, they will be transferred to your AlertPay account and from there, you can transfer your money straight to your bank account if you like or they can send you a check.
Remember, a little effort on your part is going to be required. Even though you are not going to spend a single cent, you are going to spend some time clicking on those web sites. The more sites you are a member of, the more time you are going to spend. Be consistent and click everyday. It is the only way you will see your money grow unless you have a lot of members who are clicking. It is nice to login and see your income growing every day.

Let's see if this sounds familiar. You have a hobby that you enjoy doing very, very much. You're quite passionate about it. So you're willing to spend quite a substantial amount of money to finance this hobby of yours. You buy materials for your scrapbooks, purchase old coins for your collection, or get some new seedlings to plant in your expanding garden. You need to budget your expenses just right so you can have enough to fuel your passion. And often, your loved ones-spouse, parents, friends-simply can't understand why you'd want to "waste money" on this hobby of yours.
Sounds familiar?
Well you're not alone. And it always comes as a surprise to me that while so many people are willing to spend money on their hobbies, very few of them think about MAKING money from them. The very fact of the matter is that in this day and age, with the help of the great information technology that allows to you to get in contact with virtually anyone across the globe in an instant, you can generate profit from ANY hobby. There is literally a niche market for everything-every interest and every quirk. Using the internet, you can easily tap to these niche markets relatively easy.
So how do you turn your hobbies into profit? Well, let's simplify things a bit and group these various hobbies into three categories and see how you can make money from each.
The first group of hobbies includes those that involve "production." This would include, for example, scrapbooking, soap making, candle making and the likes. With your knowledge on a particular collecting hobby, you can develop newsletters and electronic magazines that people can get by paying a subscription fee (again, the internet will make everything simple for you to do this) or you publish them for free and invite other businesses to put their ads on them. This would allow you to generate recurring revenue.
Finally, there are activity hobbies: sports, traveling, cooking-you name it. Again, you can profit from selling information to fellow hobbyists. And you don't even need to start your own newsletter or ezine; you can get paid for writing articles on them and sell them to ezine publishers. It's time to take your doodles and scribbles and turn them into cash by selling your art online, and now it can be done without any cost to you at all. Do you like to draw? Paint? Did you know you can make money from your hobby and not be a professional artist?

Thanks to the internet and improvements in technology almost anyone can now self-publish their work, whether it is a book or a painting. One of the largest new markets being provided via the internet is Print On Demand, sometimes known as Publish On Demand (POD for short). To put it simply, POD is when a manufacturer provides the raw material (paper, coffee mug, shirt, etc) and you provide the content (writing, painting, graphic, etc. Some POD suppliers even provide an online store or gallery for you to sell from, some which are provided free while others will charge a very small monthly fee. They handle the product manufacturing, shipping, and billing, but it is up to you to create the content and to manage the marketing.

While setting up my own art store, PackRat Graphics at Zazzle, I did a lot of the same research you are probable working on now. By sharing some of the information I collected in this blog, I hopefully will save you some time and frustration. I am going to assume you already know how to do the media of your choice, but how do you get it on the computer and on the internet for others to see and buy?

Where to sell your art online?
While there are a lot of different Print On Demand publishers available, during my research I narrowed my choices down to RedBubble, Imagekind, Zazzle, and CafePress. I am not going to do a pro and con comparison of the available POD publishers; others have already done this and have done a much better analysis than I could. But if you want to see numbers try the following review website, Art Business Advice.

Each Print On Demand service has their own particular strengths and weaknesses, and are targeted to different crowds, markets, and artists. But for fine art prints RedBubble and ImageKind have already established themselves has the leaders of that particular market. These two are well established art communities, with a large number of members and very good internet traffic rates, but I was looking to hit a wider market share than just "fine art" and I personally tend to lean more toward Graphic Design rather than traditional fine art. I finally settled on Zazzle. Zazzle and CafePress both provide other types of products than just fine art prints, but Zazzle gives you a full unlimited gallery with as many products as you can design, for free. CafePress is better known, but for a full gallery or store you need to pay about $7 a month. But I was interested in the challenge of starting an online business for as little cost as possible so I went with Zazzle. I may open up a CafePress store some time in the future to test it out.

Once you decide on what type of artwork you will be selling, and what market you want to target it should be easier to narrow down your choices of which POD distributor you will be using.

Get your art on your computer

Ok, now that you know WHERE and WHAT you are going to sell, HOW are you going to get it there? Here's a checklist of stuff you will need.

Required
* computer (if I didn't list it someone would point it out)
* internet connection
* photo editing program

Since you reading this the computer and internet connection requirements are already taken care of, so that only leaves one thing, a photo editing program.

A lot of people think PhotoShop when they read "photo editing program", and if you already have it that's great, you are good to go. And I'm sorry, but I don't count Microsoft Paint as editing program. So let's keep this to the theme of the blog and examine some alternatives.
My number one recommendation is GIMP. I use it more than I do Photoshop Elements. GIMP and PhotoShop Elements each have their strong points, and are useful for different things. GIMP can be a little confusing at first, since the program operates via "blocks", separate windows depending on the function. For example the toolbox, image, and layers will all be in their own separate windows. Requires some minimizing and maximizing at times but since it's free it's worth the cost. It is even compatible with a tablet and pen if you want to paint or draw directly on the computer.

If GIMP seems a little intimidating or complex, a simpler alternative is Paint.NET. Using it is pretty self explanatory. If you are interested in vector graphics like Corel Draw, a free alternative is Inkscape. Even if you don't intend to produce commercial products with it, its still fun just to play around with.

With this collection of programs, you can do just about everything someone else can do with PhotoShop whether you are photo editing or creating computer graphics from scratch, but at least you still have some money left.

These are listed as optional since it depends on what media you are working in. Neither one is needed obviously if you are concentrating strictly on computer graphics. But if your media is painting or sketching, you will need access to one or the other. If you plan on just doing a few art pieces, it would be cheaper to pay a service to scan them (Wal-mart, Kinkos, etc). But since I believe you should create digital backups of any serious work of art anyway, I consider this as a cost of living expense and not a business expense. And the need for a digital camera is again dependent on what media you are working in and of course your ability to use it.

Is that all it takes to sell art online?
So by now you should have your POD picked out, some editing programs, and you have your art creations. So now is it just log in, upload your work, post your products, and you're done? Is it time to sit back, relax, and wait for the money to come in after all your hard work creating your art?

Nope, sorry, you are not even half way done. The internet is unbelievably HUGE, and your gallery or product page is a tiny little speck on the World Wide Web. No one is going to know about your work unless YOU tell them. Some PODs do some of the work for you by getting your gallery to show up in a search engine, but that's only if someone searches for the exact name of your gallery or shop page. Hopefully this isn't where you drop off the hook when I tell you creating your art is barely half the work involved. You can, and probably will, spend more than half of your "business time" marketing and networking, and NOT doing the enjoyable stuff like painting or drawing.

Are you still there? Good.
The marketing and networking side of an internet business is going to be something you need to do, whether you have put money into your online business or not. For Print On Demand products, there are some specialized marketing strategies just for this. For example Zazzle is partnered with Facebook allowing for what is called a Merch Store application to be used to promote your stuff. Java applications can be put on your MySpace page, blog, or website to show off your stuff (just don't Spam on MySpace or Facebook, that's rude and will get your MySpace account suspended).

CafePress also has some affiliated applications for both of these social networking sites. And some of the POD communities have, on their own, put together and established separate websites strictly for promoting that particular POD designers and artists.

The larger POD communities work together in promoting each other, even rewarding you for referrals. So don't be all Me! Me! Me! Imagine getting paid when it is not even your product that sold because you supplied a link to SOMEONE ELSE's work on your gallery, website, or blog. So get active in your POD's communities, make friends, socialize, and start building your network. It takes time so I'm telling you now, don't expect huge changes overnight.

It is going to be up to you just how much time you spend on marketing, but always consider that marketing is one of those activities that you only get out what you put in. A little effort = little reward, a lot of effort = lots of reward. There are several strategies you can do to help get you exposure.

Blogs - for now it is shown that blogs are IT when it comes to exposure and promotion. There are a variety of free blog suppliers available, and if you decide to make a blog for promoting and marketing you are going to have to learn something called Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This is one of those things that determine whether you are on the front page of a search or on page 120. The blogs with good SOE are near the front and are the ones that get all the traffic. And in internet marketing traffic is the Number 1, end-all be-all goal. Even a stick man drawn with a crayon will sell if it has enough traffic and enough people see it. He also provides some good tips on where and how to start promoting your blog, with various article registration sites and link exchanges. The following are other sites you might consider incorporating into your marketing mix.

Squidoo - is very similar to a blog, but seems more centered toward shopping, business promotion, and money earning, and that's exactly what you want. They even have modules to incorporate into your lens, Amazon, eBay, de.icou.us, etc. Your webpage there is called a lens, and not only can you promote your own products but others as well. The more related content you have on your lens the better chance you have of showing up in a search.
Spynbuy - is a social selling site. Think of it as the yellow pages of online business, but besides using regular text ads you can do picture and even video ads of your products.
Thisnext.com - A website for discovering, recommend, sharing, and promoting products. Kind of like Digg but for products. Also allows for shopcasting on your website or blog.
Research Product Related promotion/shopping sites - there are several shopping sites that are product centric, whether it's t-shirts or fine art.

Digg and Stumbleupon - if it's compatible with your gallery, at the very least install it on your blog or lens if you have one, it won't hurt.

Google base - one of the first things I would suggest is to see if your POD gallery and products are Google base compatible (allows for the use of RSS Feeds). By registering a feed into Base you are inputting your products directly into Google Product Search. It also provides reports on how often your product shows in a search, and if the searcher clicked on your product(s). Very useful for determining which are your "dead" products and which are your active products in case you have gallery size or storage issues. The product searches are based upon the attributes you attach to your product. Attributes, or keywords, help search bots identify what type of product you have and where to put it in a search.

Example, for fantasy painting of a dragon the keywords or attributes could be; fantasy dragon mythological medieval "dragon art" "dragon illustration" "fantasy creatures" etc.....

It is very important to keep your attributes related, search bots are smart and will flag your product as Spam and not list it if you over do it or exaggerate on the keywords. Google Base has an excellent Help Section that can help you set up your product feed correctly, or see your POD's forums.

The Website Owner Zone - Free social network for web owners to make friends while learning to increase traffic, SEO, exchanging links/banners, making money and more.
And this are just a tiny portion of some of the marketing strategies and mixes that are available free on the internet. Just keep in mind the market you are targeting and adjust your promotions accordingly.

Miscellaneous Tips-n-Tricks:
* PayPal - especially useful if you live outside the United States and your POD is in the U.S. This way you can avoid the exchange charge by your local bank.

* RSS feeds - feeds allow for repeat visitors to your sites/blogs. Repeat business is Good! Even if the visitor doesn't purchase anything the first 25 times they come to your site, they may purchase something on the 26th time. And even those non-purchasing visits are useful to you; it shows to search engines that your site is active and in-use.

* Email - simply a useful business organizational concept. Set up a free email account under your business/gallery's name. Even if you don't have a real life business and are just doing this for fun, the separate email account is very useful for keeping your business email and account activities separate from your personal life.

* EBay - a lot of PODs are not directly compatible with incorporating into EBay, but if you want to go through the trouble you can purchase your own product, then turn around and post it on EBay, if for anything good advertisement.

* I will list more tips or tricks as I discover them.

As you can see marketing and networking can take up a lot of your time and effort. 2/3 of this article is about those two subjects, with only a third on how and where you can sell your art.
Selling your art on the web will reward you with exactly what you put into it. The more you market and network, the better chance you have of making a sale. But after that first sale you may end up spending all of your spare time thinking of new ways to market your product and how to get it noticed so you can get more sales. Be warned though that the first sale may not happen for weeks, or it may happen the very first day. But there is nothing like the feeling of knowing someone was willing to pay money for something YOU made.

How Do You Make Money From Google Adwords?

Late 2003, I think was the first time an ebook popped up that claimed that one could make money from Google Adwords.
The main method that was revealed involved combining Google Adwords and the Clickbank affiliate program, to make money, online, everyday almost on autopilot.
Please allow me to very quickly outline how you can make money on the internet, using this system.

Here are 2 things you need to get started...

1) You need a Google Adwords account.

Ok, so how does it work?
Well, you simply go to clickbank.com and on the main page you click on "Promote Products" on the right. You will be taken to the index page of all products being sold via clickbank. Each product is listed with a short description and the percentage you make as an affiliate.
Just select the product you wish to promote, grab your affilate promotion URL, by clicking on the [earn 50%]. Your personal affiliate link will pop up, just copy and paste that, into a text editor like notepad.

Alright then, how do you write your Ad?
The general profitable Google Adwords format that has seemed to work for many is like this. Line one your heading ask a question, line two mention a feature of the product or ebook, line 3 give a benefit, then line 4 your websites address goes there.
Once you have selected your budget and you submit your ad, it will probably start showing on the Google network within the next 10 minutes.
When searchers see your google ad, they click on it and google will charge you for every click, according to how much you bid on a particular keyword.
If the searcher who clicks on your ad, then goes ahead and buys from the site, you will receive the respective commission from Clickbank, and you can check your earnings when you login to your clickbank account.

However, There's 2 things to watch out for...
Your Return On Investment(ROI) and your Click Through Rate(CTR).
The ROI helps you determine how profitable your Google Ad is, when you subtract the cost of running your ads from the amount earned in your clickbank account.

1. Paid To Read Emails or Other Paid To Read Programs - Let's get these out of the way. This is where a company pays you a certain amount per email or ad read. Every company has different pay rates. Some are pennies per email read. Others are hundreds of dollars per email read. As I said, I am not going to knock any program here but you need to use a little common sense when it comes to these. Who is going to pay you hundreds of dollars for reading an email? Read the fine print of the contract. You will see in most cases there is a catch. If you want the whole scoop in the Paid To Read thing, there are plenty of threads on the Internet. You will find that many of these programs either shut themselves down or were shut down because they didn't pay. However, if you find a program like this that is legit, your earning potential is about a couple hundred dollars a month, if you include recruiting into the mix, which you can do. You will never get rich off of Paid To Read programs.
2. Survey Sites - These are sites that send you surveys which you take. If you qualify for the survey you can earn as much as $25 to $50 for one survey. Most surveys though are for points and discounts. If you spent a whole day doing these it is conceivable that you can make a few hundred dollars a month doing these. You won't ever get rich from them. Also, never pay for a list of sites that give surveys. This info is available for free.
3. Randomizers - These are programs where you join, pay your fee, whatever it is and then every time somebody joins a random payment is made to one of its members. One thing you need to be careful of these. PayPal is cracking down on them because they violate their TOS. So if a randomizer uses PayPal as a payment source you may want to think twice about joining. You can lose your PayPal account. Unless you do an awful amount of promoting for these things and get your own members, you potential monthly income is about $20 a month. Randomizers are pretty much dropping like flies so you won't run into as many of these as you did a year or so ago.
4. Doublers - This is where you put in say, $20 on January 1 and in 90 days, or whatever the term is, you get $40 back. You've doubled your money. These are also not as common as years ago but they are still around. The problem with these sites is that they are also against TOS of PayPal and other payment processors. However, if you get into one of these early and put in a lot of money, you can make a bundle real fast. But you are taking a gamble because all of these eventually fold up because the structure can't support itself. Think about it. If you keep doubling your money every 90 days and never take it out you have this progression.
20, 40, 80, 160, 320, 640, 1280, 2560, 5120, 10,240, 20,480, 40,960, 81,920...etc...
Eventually after a few years they end up having to pay you millions of dollars. Unfortunately, none of these doublers have lasted that long. So be careful with these.
5. Paid Typing Companies - These actually fall into 2 types. The real paid typing companies where you have to actually have typing skills to get a job and the ones that are nothing more than typing ads on the Internet and getting paid if people buy things. You can actually make a lot of money doing this, if you use the standard Google Adwords as your advertising medium. Your average person, with a limited budget, only makes about 2 or 3 hundred dollars a month. You do have to pay for Google Ads. They're not free. The legit typing companies will pay a standard wage for the work you do, whatever the market will bare at the time. Never pay to get one of these jobs.
6. Selling Advertising - This is actually a very big thing on the Internet. This is where you work for a company that sells people advertising packages or programs that they claim will effectively promote your business. This is another one of those things where you have to use a little common sense. If these advertising methods are so good, why is everybody using them to promote the company itself and try to get people to buy the advertising package or the tools themselves? Why doesn't ANYBODY use these tools to promote their OWN business? I'm going to let you answer that question for yourself. Like I said, I'm not going to knock anything in this review. The earning potential with these can be quite great depending on how much the packages sell for. Some are very cheap, a few hundred dollars, and some are very expensive, in the thousands. If you're going to promote one of these, think about how easy or hard you think it's going to be for you to get somebody to spend $3,000 on an advertising program.
7. MLM - Stands for Multi Level Marketing. These are programs where you get people to sign up and hope that they do the same. Some of these programs can be 10 or more levels deep. You need to be careful with these. The ones that have no product or service and are simply pyramids are illegal and will eventually get shut down. What most of these companies do is include things like ebooks, auto responders, etc. so that they give the appearance of being legit. Some actually are. Most of the stuff given away by these are worthless. It's hard to know what has value and what doesn't unless you're a seasoned marketer. Earning potential with these programs can literally be millions of dollars a year. But 95% of all people who join these fail. That is a statistical fact. You can look it up. The 5% who have some success range in income from a few hundred dollars a month to $10,000 or more. Only about 1% make more than $10,000 per month. Plus, the expense of some of these programs can be quite large. MLM programs have been the cause of many a family ending up in bankruptcy. So please be cautious with these.
8. Freelance Writing - This falls kind of in the job category as you get paid for the work you do. The problem with this is that it's hard to find these jobs and they don't pay much. If you worked 8 hours a day doing this you'll probably make about $2500 a month. Most people do this in their spare time and maybe make a couple hundred dollars monthly. The trick is finding companies that offer this service or people who will pay you to write for them.
9. Internet Researcher - This is very similar to freelance writing and also very hard to find these jobs. The pay varies greatly depending on the job itself. If you can do this full time, you'll make a little bit more than a freelance writer since research requires a lot more work. You're looking at about $3500 a month for 8 hours a day. But this is a tough gig and not easy to find.
10. Mystery Shopping - Actually, this isn't really an Internet based job. You need to have a car and be able to travel to where they send you. Depending on where you live you can either get a ton of jobs or very few. Geography plays a big role in this. This is something that you can make about $1000 a month doing if you did it full time and got that much work, but most people make a couple hundred bucks a month at most. With the rising gas prices this isn't as attractive as it used to be.
11. HYIP - Stands for High Yield Investment Program. 99% of these are illegal and the feds are cracking down on them. The list of HYIPs that have fallen is a mile long, including the big fiasco with 12 Daily Pro. Yes, if you get in early, you can make an amazing amount of money with these if you put in a lot. Even if they do pay 12%, 12% on $20 isn't going to pay you much money. To earn big you must invest big. If you can afford the risk of losing all your money, which many people have done, then you may want to go in for a quick killing on one of these. The earning potential is unlimited.
12. Selling Other People's Products - This is called affiliate marketing and can actually be very lucrative if you put in the time to promote. Ad expenses can chew you up and if you pick products that nobody is interested in you can end up making very little. Clickbank is one of the biggest companies offering this service. It is best to do a lot of research on a product before you decide to try selling it. Because there are so many existing products out there to choose from, this process can take a long time. The earning potential here is unlimited if you have the resources. But again, just like with MLM, 95% of affiliate marketers don't make any money because they don't advertise properly. The other 5% earn anywhere from a few hundred dollars a month to $10,000 a month or more.
13. Creating Your Own Business - This is where you make your own ebook, or start your own service, or maybe even create a product and sell it. The potential with your own business is unlimited depending on what you're selling. When I say your own business, I don't mean to join one of these sites that say "We'll give you your own business." These are just cookie cutter sites that thousands of other people have. And there is nothing wrong with them. But you will be limited to what you can do with them as most have pretty fixed sales templates. Some are better than others. So do your homework on them if you don't want to build a product and website from scratch.
14. Everything Else - The above list is by no means exhaustive. There are a number of odd ways to make money on the Internet that don't quite fit into one of the above. But if you examine them closely, you will see that they have similarities to one or more of the above items. Take these on a case by case basis. If it seems like something unique, then ask a lot of questions about it before diving in. Make sure you understand every aspect about what you're getting into before giving your credit card number. Most Internet "opportunities" have money back guarantees. Some don't, as I have painfully found out. While we want to believe the best in everyone, there are crooks out there. There are people who simply want to take our money, and will do whatever they can to get it from us.

What is the benefit of the internet? Are you a free internet user?

The internet is not free, or is it that you never pay a penny using the internet.
Have you ever heard of the phrase 'There is no free lunch'. Everything is at a cost, its just that sometimes its not the user is paying for the service or product. The payer can be your company, your boss, your parents, friends etc.

Actually, the internet is a very expensive thing to construct. It consist of computers, devices, cables, satelite, and many other thing. The cost for the overall internet may come to billion billions of dollars. Thats why you or someone else have to pay for the internet connection, whether you are using cable or wireless connection.

So, since that its not free, why don't find a benefit out of it. What I mean is make money out of the internet. This can be done by many ways, depending on your interest and level of knowledge. If you know proggraming, you can set up a system and make somebody pay for it. If you have a product to sell, sell it through the internet, which can get you customers from your whole country or even the entire world, rather than just at your hometown. Or even if you dont have neither above, there is still many other ways that you can use to earn money from the internet.

Take a look at this blog for example, do you think that this blog comes free. Its free for you of course, except for your internet connection, but actually the domain is sponsored or paid by Blogger.com or Google, the other content is written by me(time and energy), marketing and other stuff that is paid by others. You didn't just get to this blog for free, but you are actually maybe helping the owner to earn income. I am an internet user just like you, but I choose to get something while using the internet. Rather than just spill money out, I also want the internet to fill my pocket.

So be wise and do the same thing, there are many money making ways, guides, advice online, its only up to you whether you want it or not.
